Bigchess Giant Garden Chess Sets

Our chess pieces have been designed and manufactured in South Africa using plastic supplied by Sasol. These chess pieces are extremely strong and durable, made using plastic which is UV specified for outdoor use. The standard colours are black and ivory. Ivory is used as it looks better and doesn’t show the dirt nearly as much as bright white. We also have a range of colourful pieces. Our pieces are designed and manufactured in South Africa by South Africans and is manufactured using industrial grade polyethylene plastic made by Sasol. We can replace individual pieces fairly quickly should you have the misfortune to lose a piece. Plastic has industrial specifications (on our website) and is UV stabilized for long term use in South African conditions. Our set weighs 52 kg without packaging.
